ok so this isn't really a concept but I just made it up lols. According to this - if you're better than average looking, you've the right to reject less fortunate looking, that is ugly and bad looking people. It's understandable. But if you're not better looking, you shouldn't pin for dating more beautiful people, you should stay within your limits. Agree?

It is a naturally-evolved and rewarded predisposition to strive for the MOST 'advantageous' copulation to assure YOUR lineage's DNA moves forward to yet another generation's iteration.

Stripping away all the altruistic 'window dressing'... "kindness" and being caring CAN be modeled and imitated but 'glamoury' while helpful, does NOT substitute for species-disposed evolved PREFERENCE! Psychologists have proven EVEN newlyborn babies respond more favorably when shown videos of 'attractive' people ~

For MOST of us 'average' humans, we must await Life's firsthand hard life lessons visited upon the 'pretty' people... for them to 'realign' THEIR predispositions
to 'tolerate' a less-glamourous Suitor in return for the more-advantageous personal sacrifices we 'average' folk will willingly offer for their companionship in the "long game" of heredity.

ALL Life is a matter of 'trade offs' of the mostest, bestest in exchange for what 'we' are... and can WILLINGLY provide.

It’s more like an insecurity that we have AKA “league”
Even tho most of times these predictions are baseless
We humans still judge and treat attractive people different from not so attractive ones

I think it’s cause of some ancestral instincts that “Attractive physical traits are better and should be carried on” (in form of offsprings)
At least that’s what an article suggested
So yea as messed up as that sounds its still a major issue but I don’t think it affects the end results
Cause Nowadays overall personality of a person matters a lot more than it’s attractive traits

Ps-I May have selected the wrong opinion
I don’t promote such shallow practice
I was merely agreeing to the fact of existence of that such phenomenon

You have the right to reject anybody you want. And if you’re less attractive you may have trouble finding a super attractive person to date (unless of course you’re really charming which makes up for a lot). But none of this is set in stone. There are always exceptions.

No. You can reject models if you want to, nothing wrong with that. The only bias I have is my own preference, and if I'm not attracted to you, you're getting rejected, doesn't matter if you're seen as ugly or a model

No, I don't subscribe to that theory. If you are willing to date people less attractive than you, then that means that guys should think there are attractive women who would be willing to date them.

Nahhh, I disagree.
The only person who decides who is or isn't in their league is that person in particular.

I've been with people who were more attractive than me and I've been with people who were way more successful than I was, simply because those people were attracted to me in spite of those things.
And I have also been with people who I thought were very attractive, but they thought otherwise.
I'm not going to shoot myself in the foot based on assumptions alone.

You never know what any particular person is drawn to, the worst case scenario is that you get rejected.

I disagree. Everyone has the right to reject anyone for any reason whatsoever. But dating is a market and people are out to make the best deal they can. People do tend to seek their equals in maturity, intelligence, fitness, sexuality, and ambition.

You seem to be conflating attractiveness and beauty. Those are not the same thing, though they can be very closely related. Because you could have someone who is physically beautiful but not attractive overall because of their character.

Don’t agree. People constantly change so there’s that. An 8 with a great personality will rise to a 10 in my book. An 8 with bad attitude will be a 6 and I’ll only want hate sex from them.
