@Subarugirl You talk about actual rape or statutory rape? That's not the case everywhere. Here in the Netherlands it is legal. Sure dating a minor is something that is frowned upon and for good reason to, but to flat out call someone a "predator" or a rapist is as false as it can get. Especially if you do not know the story behind that relationship or the two people involved. If he happen to specifically target 16 year olds with an agenda, that's predatory. If he genuinely has a connection and good intentions, as well as her parents being okay with it, then you are in no position to label him as a rapist or a predator. Who the fuck do you think you are making such serious accusations?

@TruthBringer well that’s not okay in the states since a 16 year old is unable to legally give consent. So yes, According to the law having a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old as a 22 year old is predatory and illegal

But just because the law thinks it is not okay, does not mean he himself AND his intentions are predatory. There is a difference between law and morality. So choose your words carefull before you flat out call someone a rapist or a predator.

@TruthBringer well legally that would be accurate, as a 22 year old he was insistent that he dates high schoolers, when I clarified he confirmed that as a 22 year old that he was dating someone 8 years younger than himself so I’ll stick by my accusation. I’m concerned that he is engaged in sexual behavior with a minor and you’re caught up on the fact that I’m worried that his behavior is blatantly predatory.

@Subarugirl Like I said, if the place where he lives sees it as a crime, then he is a predator in the eyes of the law, not from a moral point of view. If it IS legal in where he lives (just liek it is legal in my country), then in no way is he a predator given that his intentions are pure. And he says that it is legal to where he lives. So with that being said, your accusations are based merely on assumptions. All because you can't stand the idea of a guy in his twenties having legall concentious sex or relationship with someone who just passed the legal age of consent. You're free to stand by your accusation as we are free to debunk it.
