So I met a guy at my workplace and we have vibed with each other for quiet awhile now. So I told him I was leaving the company and I initiated that we should go out and catch up and we did. And we talked for quiet awhile about work life, and what I would do at my next job. He was giving me lots of advice for next year job. We then went onto the topic of travel and if we would move our whole life there and he said I would if I was single does this mean has a girlfriend now? And was that considered as a date? Or was I too vague?

If he said "if I was single" then I would definitely take that to mean he is in a relationship.
