boys are usually forced at a young age to learn how to control their emotions. We become weak among our peers if we can't be strong emotionally.
So it horrifies us when you show so little control over your emotions. It's ok to have them and talk about having them, but letting them loose at random is not good.
Not only is that emotional weakness adverse to men, but you are displaying little to no control over your emotions.. Men have to assume that you make decisions based on emotion. That makes you unpredictable and dangerous. We wonder if you are the type to burn our personal belongings after an argument, or bang our best friend, or stab us in the neck while we're sleeping...

That wouldn't be something that bothered me at all. Everyone has emotions and every right to express them. If she wants to cry at something, she's can do it. I've got no right to be bothered by it and invalidate her feelings.

Tell him why. His mindset/thinking will be "what's wrong?", and then guys are "fixers", so he'd probably feel like trying to "fix" whatever is upsetting you. So just tell him what was going on now that you've figured it out. So it doesn't think it's him in a negative way.
I never get turned off or mad cause a girl cries, I would end up crying with her, I'm a sensitive type of guy and would cry with a girl.
Well obviously no ones gotta get turned on by sad crying girl. But I would feel like hugging and comforting her.
İt would only be a turn off if it was completely pathetic, but from how you explained it I think it wasn't pathetic at all
It's probably pretty common. I get turned off by stuff like that.
