How often do a girl does this for a guy?

I met this girl in college, and she's absolutely fantastic. She's kind, happy, friendly, really smart, and even tho she may not have a super model body, I find her quite attractive phisically. She asks me about my welfare, when classes are done for the day she asks me if I got home safely, if I eat, when we walk together we can talk about anything for hours, and she even says “I have to save money to take you to...”
Today I was feeling down, I slept very few hours last night so I was sleepy and out of energy. She noticed, and when I got home she asked me if there was something happening, if I was sad, and that if something bad is going on, I can always count with her, that the goal is for me to be fine.

I wonder, how often does a girl do this with a friend? I have a huge crush on her, but we've known each other for less than a month, and if I tell her I like her, I don't wanna realize later that she appreciates me as a friend but nothing further.

So, do girls do this with their male friends often? Or do they only do they when they're into the guy?
