My boyfriend and I were talking about a Beyoncé song in the car. I said “oh he cheated on her, that’s what this song is about”. My boyfriend said “no one would ever cheat on beyonce”. Meanwhile, my boyfriend has cheated on me multiple times. I’m super upset over his comment. It’s like telling me I’m not good enough for someone to be loyal to me. Or that I’m not worthy of his loyalty. Thoughts?

Honey you took that statement and went super far left with it. I would never look so deeply into his opinion about a celebrity and align it with my self worth. You have to love yourself, but you really can’t when you think that way and let a man cheat on you doubtlessly. I’d be more concerned with that if I were you and drop his ass.
