Like a very close best friend, she knows stuff you don't. You just started dating. They text daily and hang out alone a lot. She is married.

Reversing the genders for me, I don’t know how I would feel about my girl being best friends with another guy. I’ve seen a situation like this that didn’t end well. There may be unique circumstances where it would be okay… but hanging out alone and having a whole private relationship would give me serious doubts.

Call it insecurity or jealousy, or whatever the term is.
I'm not a generous or kind person, and I won't pretend that I'm fine with it either.

I wouldn't be ok with it. I would look into dating someone else who doesn't have that going on in their life.
