Guys, How do I talk to the guy next door?

Hey guys, I live in an apartment complex and I have a crush on the guy next door! I’ve been trying to hang out in my balcony as much as possible hoping to catch him when he’s in his balcony but he never comes out 😅 I was thinking to bake some cookies and knock on his door and just introduce myself and tell him I baked too much. What do you think? Is it a good way to approach your neighbor?
