Should you withhold sex for a certain amount of time to "get to know" each other regardless of how much you like that person?

Okay let's say for instance you meet a guy and things are going so well and you've only known each other for about one or two days and ended up sleeping together and you end up pregnant UNEXPECTEDLY a week later and even though the relationship is still new and you both really like each other and the guy wants to keep the baby and still continue to date, will that be okay or do you think that would be a bad idea?
