Why do girls act so hot and cold?

I’ve been talking to this girl, and I really like her but I’ve never met somebody so hot and cold. One day she will run to me, hug and kiss me, the next day she won’t even answer her texts.

She could be super happy, and the next day not say a word. I know it could be what I do, but I’m pretty nice all the time, and try to treat her right. We aren’t “official”, just friends who sometimes hook up if that matters.

She’s probably unsure of her feelings, she might be very guarded with how she acts (especially in showing affection) bc she doesn’t know where you guys stand since y’all aren’t official or even dating
