Do you agree that women have more unrealistic standards with what they want in a romantic partner than men do?

It depends on the person, I've seen both women and men have ridiculous standards. Men that are 26 and above, virgins who will only date a virgin woman with no romantic past and our super hot. Like wtf, but also seen women who have this perfect vision of a perfect man, who simply doesn't exist or is that one in a billion.

What gets me is when both sides will complain that there is no one out there for them but they eliminated 99.9% of any potentials from their potential dating pool. Like seriously there is enough single people out there, on average half 50% of people are single.

I'd say those odds are pretty good in any single person's favor, if they don't have ridiculous standards.

I’ll be frank. Women that think like you are either taken, ugly, or lying… I think as much as standards it’s mens inability to be seen. Women don’t notice men that don’t stand out. And men tend to not stand out. We’ve never been meant to stand out as it’s been women’s job to stand out and mens job to find them. Isn’t that supposedly changing?

In any case there’s no benefit in partners besides sex these days.

It is unrealistic. An average looking, below average looking, overweight women only wanting to get romantically involved with a model looking guy is delusional. Yes it happens but it is in the minority percentage. Same with average, below, average, overweight men getting romantically involved with a model looking woman. It happens but it is in the minority percentage. Most of the time (not always) good looking people only get romantically involved with good looking people Women just happen to be more delusional than men though.

Lol this is funny because it’s made me think… What if the only thing that makes womens standards “unrealistic” is mens refusal to live up to their potential?


I def think womens standards are higher than they should be but I’ve seen women with standards that describe some of the best men yet their generic things we should expect out of everyone.


So the real question is… assuming women expect the average guy to be a 5 but in reality the average guy is a 3… should womens standards change to reflect what’s available or stay to what’s expected?


I think it comes down to what women are willing to settle for… women however don’t like to settle.

It depends based on her past and what she brings to the relationship for if her standards are realistic or not. Many of the ones that are undesirable to quality men do have unrealistic standards, but some that are desirable due to their better choices in life do have realistic standards.

Yeah I do, women settle for less than men do. I think women are more picky than they should be at times more often than men being too picky.
