There have been many instances of people trying to sabotage my relationship (s). So many that I know about in fact, that I can reasonably assume there have been many more attempts that may have been successful or unsuccessful that I didn't ever find out about.

Has anyone ever tried to sabotage your relationship?

These have been in many forms. I've had dudes who wanted my girl, talking shit about me behind my back to my girl, or trying to make me look bad. I've had girls who wanted to be my girl, talking shit about my girl or otherwise pulling some elaborate manipulation (such as telling my girl that I was messing around with them when I wasn't) to get us apart so they could shoot their shot. I've also had at least one girl (in this particular case it was my girl's supposed bff, who had a crush on her) who was trying to split us up so she could go after my girl.

I have a friend, a real player type, he's always on the prowl, chases everything with a pulse and will co*** block you without even thinking. It's pretty much automatic for him to hit on every women (even if he's not interested) and try to prevent other guys from being successful.

It's just what he does. He's probably screwed over 500 women who now think all men are like him.

He's simultaneously the worst man a women could date and has the most successful dating strategy I know.. it's all the practice he gets I guess. Confidence is the single defining trait of the sociopath according to my psyc professor , it certainly worked for him.

Not mine, but my parents. My dad went into severe depression when his mother died of cancer, he even went to doing drugs. Got caught and went to jail. I was 11 at the time when he got caught so I was old enough to understand everything. Sadly this was from a family member, his own cousin lied and said my mom was cheating on him, while he was in jail. She tried again on my mom when she was taking care of her mom. My dad cousin was telling mom brother that my dad was seeing some lady. She was really bad news I was just thankful nobody didn't believe her.

Yeah... with my well ex, we had mutual friends and for years they didn't wanted us to meet in the first place but one day we did and they kept talking him down to me and me down towards him etc
Years passed and we met up alone and things developed and those "friends" kept going on, one tried to hook him up with someone else etc and in the end we officially ended our friendship, stayed away from eachother for a few months and started seeing each other last year and dated for 7 months until things ended kinda naturally

My girlfriend who I moved out with had these "friends" who tried so hard to break us up.

I'm not going to say we were the best two people for eachother but we were far from a bad or toxic couple. We had eachother backs, never asked too much from eachother and there was definitely a level of respect we maintained almost the whole way through for eachother.

In the end, she was a strong woman in the sense she got sick of them hating on me and left those toxic people out of her life after a couple last straws.

No one has actively tried to sabotage our relationship, but there's been shady, subtle remarks/behaviors here and there from his new friends toward me. He doesn't see it because they are always so nice to him, but I'm not going to rock the boat because it's not that serious.

I get it though, there's always going to be someone who thinks they know what's best or think they have a good judge of character without having a conversation with that person. They don't actively try to reach out and neither do I due to the interactions I already had with them being so off. Leaving it be because true colors will show eventually.

Yes different women. They knew my husband was married… I even called to tell her she is destroying a family with two little kids… she continues talking/sexing him. Marriage ended…

my boyfriend then had a woman used him for over 10 yrs… she knew he was dating me… she called his friend and said he needs to go hang out with her or date her…

she is now history and him finally happily married to me after being years. Of single, lonely and used by other women.

Yup, ex's racist and narcissitic mom did everything she could to sabotage the relationship for no other reason than my race. And she succeeded considering her daughter (my ex) didn't play her part of standing up for the relationship. I eventually got tired of them both and ended it. Good riddance. I'm in a healthy relationship now and the 'in-laws' consider me part of the family.

Just once, and yes they were. To this day though, I STILL don't know if it was my then g/f or my then best fiend who initiated it. But suffice to say it was well and truly sabotaged when I caught them at it!

Nobody has tried since then though. I've become far more shrewd at reading people.

My husband's in laws did at the beginning of our relationship. He was 24 and I was 39. They had a hard time dealing with the fact we had such a big age difference. They tried to sabotage the relationship a few times. However, I'm pretty sure the #1 problem is they were worried I couldn't or wouldn't be willing to have kids with him/give them grandkids. After I got pregnant with twins they immediately became completely supportive of our relationship.

I've had several "friends" try and sabotage my relationships. One was jealous that I wasn't spending as much time with him. The second was successful. He would turn every little thing into a competition, like he wanted to prove to himself that he was better than me. Shortly after I got into a relationship it was like it game on. He constantly tried to make me look bad, flirted with her non stop if I wan't around, etc. It worked and a couple of months after we broke up they were dating.

I had a younger sibling try to sabotage my relationship this past Christmas, yup. She's a bitter single mom at 27 who can't even find a friends with benefits she's attracted too, and sitting there Christmas day it was driving her insane that two of her siblings were in loving relationships.

Didn't work. My girl replied to her sabotage attempt, "Everyone at this table has warned me about how you would behave before you got here, and you didn't disappoint."

My old roommate/landlord kicked me out of my place (where I lived for 3 years) with a pretense she wanted someone who was better with her dog. Truth was she was the angry fat girl typed who was jealous I got a new girlfriend a few months earlier.

That caused a lot of extra drama in my own life. I had the perfect location and price up to that point. I wasn’t making very much money back then either. That contributed to the stress that caused other other problems with my girlfriend.

Never been in a romantic relationship, but a friend tried to sabotage our friendship by making mean, backhanded comments even after I told her about my mental afflictions. When I'd call her out on it, she'd act like that never happened. It was beyond toxic.
