Ladies, how soon do you prefer things to start happening when meeting a guy?

When you first meet a guy or the second time, and you exchange phone numbers, how soon do you want him to...

• text you, (e. g. within an hour, that night, not for 3 days)

• and then ask you out? (e. g. when he first texts me, when we get to know each other)

Can he get to know you first for a couple of days before asking you out? Or should he ask you right away since he asked for your number in the first place?

Hopefully he texts me by that night if not right then. Waiting arounding is a good way to lose me. As for asking me out, he can express that he intends to take me out, but i wouldn't actually accept a date until about 30 days of getting to know him

I texted a lady this morning before her shift at work. Granted my last message was a few minutes before she started but its been 14 hours and no reply. But I will see her at our job (her second job) in 3 hours.

I am trying to give her space and realize she has a life. But I don't know how to act around her at work now.
