I do , but find the dating world is too fast paced your immediately in a relationship after 24 hours of meeting? [ Is this the normal] I still believe in courting which if you ask most guys they know nothing about nkr traditional relationships [ No expectations nowadays] What happened to building relationships and being friends?

I had a guy ask me why am I still single... I told him because most people of today don't have morals or standards... nor do I settle.. I don't deal with modern men.

I think there needs to be some Phoar factor for it to progress to a relationship and with that Phoar factor it is not entirely friendship based.

I entirely agree with the courting concept. I think that neither guys or gals are likely to get what they want without it. That's making the big assumption that a long term committed relationship is the goal. Perhaps that isn't and fun for a time is as serious as it gets.

At least with courting a guy and a girl get to known each other and judge their suitability for each other.

That’s the ideal. However, my experience suggests most women don’t really mean “friends” when they say “friends first”. I came across dozens of women who still expected me to pay for everything and bring them gifts and be exclusive to them but felt no need to reciprocate. I don’t maintain one way friendships. Friends share, support each other, treat each other with respect and dignity, and view each other as equals. So there’s some funny business going on, and that’s why i don’t date anymore. Everyone is out for what they can get with not a single thought about what they have to offer.
