Why does it seem like everytime I get feelings for a girl, the relationship goes downhill?

I don’t why it feels like this. I try so har to keep any feelings away from the women that i like because the second i open up or even think that i like her more than a friend everything just collapses. Like everything would be going so well but the very moment i think to myself, it would be cool to date her, then boom everything just does downhill between us and i’m sitting here trying to figure out what i keep doing wrong.

I think instead of saying you like them open them up to the idea of a possible relationship, and make sure she’s ready to hear that you like her or ask her if she’s ready for a relationship most of the time when women get told that someone likes them it can go two ways one super downhill mainly cause she isn’t ready or take you by surprise and your in a whole relationship just take your time with girls and it will work out
