I honestly wouldn’t even notice if she did avoid garlic and onions on a date… I personally love garlic and eat a spoonful every day. So I would hope that she would just feel comfortable with me enough to let me smell her as she will also smell me.

I might pause before getting a garlicky entrée on a date, and I generally don't like onions - I can smell them on my skin afterwards- but they both can be delicious and I have gotten both on dates, really depends on what I want to eat that day.

I might be an outlier- I don't buy the whole "we ate the same thing so I can't taste anything". Sure, it's true to some extent but I personally like to feel fresh and if we can taste the same, why not taste like mint.

Yes and no. I love garlic so that is a must Onions I'll avoid. All around I get a cleaning meal so I look cute after I'm done eating lol. I don't know I've never been refused a kiss because of something I ate lol

not necessarily. It could just be she doesn't want to leave a bad impression if in case it makes her stink , even without a kiss, talking alone can leave an awful scent /smell when in conversation... how many times has it happen NOT in dating, where someone has a bad smell and you're like yuck trying to get away, so now imagine on a date, that's just five million times worse. Nobody wants to be remembered as the one that had the bad breath.
