So, do your coworkers or friends ask you for relationship advice? If they do what do you tell them or what do you say?

A coworker ask me for some help about getting girls really awkward especially since I never got with a girl before. I just said some bullshit.

After that another guy said that I should know this since I'm older than them but in reality they probably have more experience than I do 😖😖😖😖😖

Nope, but then again most of my coworkers know that I'm single, the fact that I'm older than them doesn't matter either. We basically don't talk about relationship stuff at work unless they want to tell a cute story about something their spouse or partner did. I know it's difficult to have to be so private and cut-off from how other people experience life but plenty of us have learned how to navigate the world alone. That doesn't mean we'll always be alone but for the time being we will be and we will survive. We might have to endure uncomfortable conversations when the topic comes up at work but it's okay, we'll get through it.

Yeah I get it, I've had relationships but the were all short-term so if my coworkers were to ask me I would probably jokingly say something like "well I've haven't had a lasting relationship so I'm probably not the best person to ask" or something like that.

When people ask for advice I don't tell them what to do.

I give them feedback from my perspective and what I think the other person could be doing/feeling. I tell them what I personally would do and they can take or leave whatever they want and make their own decision 🤷🏾‍♀️

I listen more than anything. Most people just want to feel heard. Beyond that I give less advice then more insist that they understand their value. This is part of what's wrong with society. It's oversexed and too many people measure their value by how many people want to get with you. It's Nonsense!

Mostly they don’t. If they do, I just listen and ask questions to help them clarify their feelings and make a decision. Pretty much what I do here.
