I exclusively fall in love with girls who looks a lot like me, same "beauty level" (6,5), same complexions etc... and also personnality. I love it, it's like we're on the same wavelengh.

I would chose a 6,5 that looks like me rather than a 10 who looks exotic and has a radically different style than me.

I feel like girls aren't like that, they prefer exotic guys, and it saddens me.

No, not really. I have always been attracted to men with blue/green/hazel/light brown eyes. I have dark brown eyes. I have a fair complexion, leaning towards pale and I find men of all complexions attractive. I have dark hair, and I also prefer dark hair in men. It differs. I wouldn't want to be with someone who is the male version of me, or my appearance..

I don't date people based on whether they "look" like me. I date people based on their personality and appearance does play a role in it, but I do not care even if they look different from me. I tend to focus on similarities in views, rather than appearance. A person could have a very much different personality from mine, but have the same views and we could enjoy talking about random stuff and bond well. I have always been attracted to men who have the same views and values as me, and all of their personalities were very very different from that of mine on varying degrees. I don't focus much on style, he can wear whatever he wants. I certainly would not like him competing with me to wear dresses, that's for sure.

I have had insane, out of the world chemistry with men who were both different and similar to me. Bottom line, to some it matters and to others it won't.

You do you, but you are limiting your dating pool to a very small circle of people. However, you can date whomever you want. Don't be saddened by other's preferences. I'm sure there is someone out there who would want to go out with you.

One factor that could predict longer relationships is having similarities with eachother. Maybe some people tend to focus their similarities on values and background feom each other rather than looks and personality.

To be completely honest I have always been into men who look better than I do.
