How about you?  Dear Tall people, please be kind. We are people too.  Would you date shorties?  why/why not?

Mainly just people (especially women) sh*tting on me for my height. Which is why I'm not as nice as I used to be. What's worse is when my fellow shorties don't stick by me because they're like 5'2" or something and think being slightly less shorter than them is some kind of advantage.

And what REALLY pisses me off, are the people blessed with height saying sh*t like "I wish I was more like you." NO YOU F*CKING DON'T! Women 6'2" and guys like 6'7" and all, wanting to be sh*t-tier like me and the size of a f*cking woman.

Literally, the worst of both worlds. Short, but not short enough to get sympathy from it. In that useless male tier of 5'8" to 5'11". Utterly sh*t, no matter what. Really short people can be quick, agile, and live much longer. Tall people get respect, power, intimidation, easy success, and live life on easy mode, even if they die seven years earlier. What do the somewhat short get? Literally f*cking nothing. All the negatives that come with being short, and literally zero positives.

Losers don't get it. People with no ambition or self-worth don't get it. So you have the most useless NPC's and losers in society who don't understand why I don't like being seen as small and weak by everyone, and I lose the patience to explain it to them. A FEW men like being small and weak and "seen as the underdog." Not me, though. I should be six inches taller than I am, but Precocious Puberty f*cked up my life. That's why I'm not 6'5"/195 cm.

I could rant all day about why I hate being short, even if it's only "slightly/somewhat short" (I don't f*cking care), but I said before it's best not to talk about my insecurities so much, especially my most HATED one and only major one I have. So I'll end it here by just saying if I was six inches taller, I'd be a much, much happier person. But as of right now, being "somewhat short," I'm literally never happy AND will die alone all because of it.

But that's life. That's the obstacles I face with being an inferior human male. I compartmentalize it and pretend like it doesn't bother me as much as it does.

I don’t think I'm short. I'm of 5'5 near 5'6. Average to tall range. My crush is super tall as well, he is 6'3 at the age of 15 lol. I have this short friend of mine who comes below my shoulder level. She is a bit chubby (not the kind that you can notice, I mean she is normal but she got a bit squishy tummy) and walks like a kid lol. If not for her teenage acnes you won't be able to distinguish her from a 6th grader! She is shorter than my younger sister too! Leave that there is this 10th grader whose height is like a toddler and she looks like one with smooth non acne face and rosy chubby cheeks. They are so cute!!

Being as small as I am, I am often the one who is small even to the small people. So other “short” people will say things like

“I’ve never met anyone shorter than me”

and they get all excited they have someone they can pick on for once 😒😂

or I will catch strangers comparing their height to mine

Since I’m short and small in general, people also seem to have the urge to pick me up. Sometimes it’s ok, other times it’s not. Strangers at parties with alcohol seem to have no boundaries.

Shorties are my favorite. 5'4" is the average height of American women, and 5'3" is the global average. I'm 6'2 but really love girls who are 5'2" or shorter. No problem with super short. Although my wife is 5'5", so that's perfectly fine, too.

Short girls are soooo cute. Sex with them can be super fun. They are easy to lift. And, aside from sex, I like being admired for my ability to reach things that are high up, open jar lids, carry heavy loads, repair and build things. I never thought of it as a negative. I didn't even know there was supposed to be anything wrong with it until I was in my 20s. By then I knew it wasn't true.

I don't think in terms of obstacles. If I can't reach something on the top shelf, so what? There's always a chair to stand on.

I can do the vast majority of the things a taller guy can do, plus a lot of things they can't do. Overall I can probably do more than a taller guy could.

There is zero part of me that want's to be taller. That's not who I am. There are things I don't like about myself, but height isn't one of them.

Oh here’s a brief list of difficulties:
- reaching high scaffoldings at home or at shops;
- cleaning the top of windows or mirrors;
- adjusting the seat on the car assuring the right visual and, contemporarily, reaching the pedals;
- cleaving the crowd in a crowded situation;
- sitting at movie theatre with tall people in the front seat;
- reaching bus or metro handles to avoid falling during sudden braking;
- seeing a gig from a parterre;
- having a chair that assures you sitting comfortably at a table and contemporarily having your feet on the ground;
- etc, etc…

I'm 5'10 and still consider myself short... when i see a woman taller than 6'... OMG! Makes me feel anxious.. but hey this is life..."take it or leave it"
When i see women shorter than me like 4' something, OMG!!! Soo cute! I would like to have them all, but again this is life... as i had one time a shortie/pettite but because she was having too much of (none self esteem) didn't work.

Generally, guys have more issues with girls being taller than them than shorter than them. As far as shorter goes, I feel I'm pushing it if she is 11" (28cm) or more shorter than me. Who wants to see a partner in pain from a crick in her neck just due to her desire to reach up to kiss me? Though people are flexible, and they can make accommodations, extreme differences can present challenges. When I was in college, there was a guy who was over 7'3" (222cm), and I used to see him walking around campus with his girlfriend, with his hand on her head. She wasn't even 5' (152cm) tall. Also, understand there are plenty of guys who are within 28cm of you.

When I told my friends that I am learning to drive a car, they asked me if I was able to see above the driving wheel or not. In a non-offensive funny way.

Not only I am able to drive our smaller one, but I am able to drive our bigger SUV with much ease too. It's really easy! I am 5 feet 2 inches. It works out pretty well.

Mostly just the fact people are taller than me and put things that I need to climb to get. My siblings do this deliberately because they think it's funny.

Also shopping since even the bras and dresses look like they're made for giants. Technically they are, people are too tall lol.

Honestly i love being short. I think too many people care WAAAAAY to much about physical appearance. Who cares... as long as you love yourself , what others think shouldn't mean shit.
If i need something up high i ask husband or taller co-worker or friend. Or i climb up on something. Short people can always find a way up, can tall people get down? Lol

Absolutely I would date someone short. I don’t want to miss out on a soulmate because of a few inches. But in terms of mean things, I’m 5’ 7” but I have lots of short friends.

One of them was called “kid sized” another was asked by a stranger, “what are you?” asking for their height. Also I think people just see you as less attractive which is BS.

Yeah, many people tell me that I look like 22 years old instead of 26 but I guess that is a good thing and it doesn't have to do only with the height😂 But what I find really cute is when I want to reach something from a higher shelf and I ask for help a taller guy 😂 It is creepy I know but I like it. That maybe could be an obstacle if you are all alone so nobody can reach it for you 😆

I love Ikea furniture as it is very short and close to the ground.

I love shorties! It’s a thing and I dont know why. Lol! When I was younger I played a decent amount of basketball in my youth group and it was always the shorter girls that could out play me. I don't really face any obstacles if I'm honest. Although, and not trying to brag, if I was taller I reckon I'd have a lot more success in the dating world. I put my height in my profile on any dating apps which I'm sure turns a lot of girls off. Same in person. Most of my friends are tall and if I go out with one of them girls would usually conversate more with my friend than I. It's all good though. In the working world I've had no problems though.
