Short guy question for short guys?

Men of 5’6 or anyone deemed short, how has this affected your dating prospects? I’m a 5’6 male who is severely self conscious about his height when it comes to approaching women, I’m a good looking guy but I don't know if handsome is enough to counter the fact I’m just not that tall.

There have been high quality women that have turned down taller AND richer guys because they would rather be with me.


My height hasn’t been an issue for me.


My personality, charm, and social skills are my forte.


Anxiety about your height is a limiting belief—a mental block in your mind that will f*ck you in the a** if you’re not careful.


The more attention you give it, the more power you give it. Don’t give it the time of day. Focus on what you CAN control. Act as if it’s not even a thing.


No, don’t act. BELIEVE that it’s not even a thing. Believe that your height is no issue for you and that you can succeed with women no matter what your height is.


Get that negative sh*t out of your head… Because if you don’t, it’ll mess up your confidence, your energy, your vibe, and girls can feel ALL that coming off of you.


So, work on yourself. Focus on becoming the best version of yourself you can be. Believe that height is no issue for you.


And, remember that women who disqualify you so quickly because of your height alone are shooting themselves in the foot because they have no idea what you’re able to bring to the table.

I'm 5'4. Honestly just don't bother trying. The only way a short guy can be successful with women if he's either good looking or rich, potentially both. Apps are not meant for short men. You say you're a good looking guy. Thats good you have self confidence, but that doesn't matter. Attraction is objective. Just because you think you're a good looking guy, doesn't mean the majority of other women will. Its individual based. If you are on apps then don't list your height. Put good pictures up and if you are really good looking then you will get matches.

Work with those matches, but there's a high chance most of them will reject you once they find out your height. Keep the progress going with the ones that like you and put in the effort. Its a numbers game. I'm not good looking so its not like i'm gonna get anywhere. But all you can do is keep trying, there's nothing else you can do. Women are superficial these days and they throw a hissy fit when guys mention their bodies. They are lucky we can at least suck it up when they criticize out bodies, but its hurtful. Thats society for you.

I’m 5’6.5
I dated very little over my life for different reasons. But it wasn’t due to height. I don’t see height as an issue nor was it when I found dates. Some dates were taller.


It’s much more about your confidence, social skills, and dating skills, social status. Multiple those things by 10 and divide your height concern by 4.


There are women who will go for tall guys. Some can be convinced to go with shorter guys

I'm 5'5 and I've never even talked to women in a social context. I've done great for myself without ever needing a partner (s) so not only am I not afraid to be single, but I actually prefer it and wouldn't have it otherwise.

However, based on what I've seen personally from other testimonies, height usually trumps looks.
