Is a video chat before meeting in person okay?

I'm tired of going on dates with these women only to be written off for whatever reason. They don't ever tell you why. I think it would be better if I just did a video chat instead. Then you could actually show them your hobbies and that kind of thing. I think I'd do a better job of selling myself vs over the dinner table.

I just think it would be easier to arrange plus with the cost of everything these days, I don't have to waste $50 on two meals.

I think a video chat does the same thing. They can't hide behind filters.

Maybe. I remember when I was younger they always wanted a meal and wouldn't meet for drinks

It was way back when I was only like 23. Honestly I get the most frustrated about the time wasted if she ditches. A video chat I can somewhat do anywhere as long as I look decent still.
