Is it worth it to get involved with this guy?

He lives a 2.5 hour drive away, and he's coming to visit me for the first time on Monday. We have been video calling etc most days. The thing is though, is I can't see myself moving if this ever worked. At least not to where he lives. And I think London is too fast-paced for him.

Early on I told him it's a shame we don't live 30 minutes away, and he kept pushing it, saying it is possible to work. He has even mentioned me to his friends. We get on well, but I own a flat in London through shared ownership, and I would like to live in London, or at least just outside of it.

He also has a weekend market stall for his own business that he runs Saturday and Sunday until 12 or 1pm.

You just have to make it very clear to him that you're willing to try this but you're not willing to relocate. Then it's up to him to decide whether this relationship is worth pursuing

cons: lives 2.5 hours away. cannot compromise on moving closer (no point of relationship then). he's pushy. you own a place already. he is anchored to his market.

pros: um, you like each other?
