Is living alone as a guy considered a luxury?

Im 27, single , have my own place,
job, truck,

i work come home, hang out by my self, have friends over.

not sure if a girl would see that as a red flag, Or if its a luxury or bad,

nobody else i know can afford to live alone

I wouldn’t considerate a luxury or something bad. More like something in between.


It’s closer to a luxury than something bad though.


Being able to afford all your own expenses and afford your own place shows that you have your sh*t together.


Women almost always prefer to be with a man that has his sh*t together.


So, you’re in a good place. This will help set you up for success when it comes to dating.


As for not having a girlfriend, that doesn’t make you any less attractive. You could be a picky bachelor, maybe that’s why. That would be an easy explanation.


So yeah, I don’t see any disadvantages. In fact, all I see are advantages.

Also, you said that you have friends over, so that’s a great sign too. You have a social life.


If you lived alone and didn’t have a social life at all, that may be a little strange.

Having your own place is not a red flag. In fact it’s quite the opposite. When I see a man who is stable and mature enough to have his own place it shows he’s independent and doesn’t need his mom to do his chores. Nowadays the cost of living is expensive so I understand in some situations people cannot move out so appreciate that you can. Also trust me… dating someone when you live with your parents makes it difficult to have an intimate relationship because there’s no privacy. Believe me you are living a luxury. Enjoy it.

I think that's normal at the age of 27 for both men and women.

Assuming that you own the place, you have the luxury of not having to deal with anyone's bullshit in your own home if you don't wanna.

As someone who comes from a hectic household, I consider it a luxury.

I also find it as a luxury because having no one around helps me focus on myself more, which can be either a good thing or a bad thing depending on how you look at it.

Other than that, living alone can be kinda troubling, if you're going months on end without even seeing anyone, which is something that I dealt with.

Being too alone can be bad for you mental health.
