Why can't my friend accept rejection from a guy?

Evey year she says she gonna have a talk with him that she's gonna walk away... is she not gonna seem desperate this has been going on for 2 years

He has to be blunt with her not give her excuses. If you know the guy tell him, he has to directly tell her he does not like her and he isn't interested in being with her ever. This might be the only way to get her to stop.

Regardless if she is desperate or not he still needs to be blunt with her. Maybe than she will finally stop and move on with her life. Sometimes you have to be cruel to be kind.
