Girls, Ladies, how important is salary?

I don't know what I'm getting wrong here...

Not a single female across 4 dating apps will talk to me, and I want another shot at love.

I feel like I've crossed off every single damn thing I can adjust that is within my control, and still nothing.

Since most people will not possess the wherewithal to just tell me I'm ugly, I'd like to state that my job title is visible on all apps, and females may be able to gauge what I make by that.

I personally think its unrealistic for women or men to expect someone to be making 6 figures. Welcome to middle America...

But, I'd like to get your thoughts?

It’s important. You don’t need to be rich, but you need to be able to pay your own way, cover your own bills and be able to live comfortably without mooching off of someone elses income. I don’t care how much money a guy makes aslong as he’s not on the brink of being homeless.

Thats a realistic way of looking at it. Too bad so many females don't adopt that approach...

Actually a lot of women have that same mindset, sounds like you’re meeting the wrong types of women.

It really has gotten worse overall. This mindset seems to apply to more and more of them-who are unwilling to date you if the arrangement is not 100% ideal for them. I just recently got rejected because I did not live close enough to the woman, who stated that she wants to find someone close to move in with within 1 year.

I don't mind wanting that, but actually having specific deadlines seems like a symptom of privelege, and grossly unrealistic.

Well why would you settle for less when you can wait and find someone who is on the same page as you? Ofcourse everyone wants to meet someone who is 100% ideal for them. It’s not a case of privilege, it’s a case of having enough self worth and respect to not settle down with someone that you won’t be truly happy with. You shouldn’t throw your own dreams and goals out the window just for someone else.

Clearly that woman was not the right one for you. But someone out there will be. Someone who meets your preferences and wants and you do the same for them.

We all have different deadlines, some are relationship based or career based, but all deadlines are valid to each individual person and just because it sounds unrealistic to you, doesn’t mean it is unrealistic for them. Everyone is different. You will find the right woman some day.
