It’s just odd I feel he was a talker, he claimed to be this shy guy with no game but was kinda flirty with me. We talked via video game chat for over a hr everything seemed fine. When the chat ended he asked for my # and I gave him my social media instead. We added each other and he never reached out again while we actively looked at my posts on social media I eventually just ended up unfollowing him.

A guy is never entitled to your phone number. Especially these days! You have to be cautious with who you give personal Information to. If you weren't at a place yet where you felt like you were comfortable giving out your number, it's completely reasonable to give a guy your social media instead. At least for now! If a guy can't respect your boundaries then he isn't the right guy for you.

1. I think I'm being played as another simp to grow her network, not actuallybecomeanythingserious.
2. Social is impersonal.
3. Social is something everyone has access to, so you signaled he wasn't important to you.
4. He asked for your number, not your social. That's like going to a 5* restaurant and being handed McDonald's, you'll probably eat it, but you ain't gonna be happy about it.

Probably. I made that same mistake once, when I was 22. I think social media should be for friends. It doesn't really work in a dating context.
