Girls, How does a new? Lesbian who has just come out ask another woman for a date?

You ask the same way a guy asks a girl or girl asks a guy. Just because you sexuality is lesbian doesn't mean there is anything more or less difficult to asking someone out. I am not a lesbian or even bisexual, but I do understand the simple concept that asking someone out isn't easy.

It doesn't matter the gender you are asking out. It is a nerve wracking thing sometimes. I asked out my SO because of the circumstances of where we met (my work). I was nervous as heck.

My best advice is get to know someone and look for the signs they are interested. There should be some classic signs of flirting... smiling, laughing, etc. Then, once you are reasonably sure there is a chance at a "yes", just ask.

Just because you are lesbian doesn't make it any more difficult (or easy for that matter) than it is for anyone else. It is all the same to be honest. Good luck to you.
