Been friends with this girl forever , we recently reconnected two years ago after not seeing each other for a while. We’ve gone on a couple dates , hung out from time to time , flirted etc. she’s not a great texter but in Person our conversations are great. she started dating someone late last year and it didn’t last long. We hadn’t talked in over a year. We recently saw each other to the point where she says I haven’t seen you in forever where have you been? I asked her if she wanted to do something and she said sounds good. I texted her to set up something no response she went away. Then we ran into each other after a few weeks no reply. Conversation was normal again. As a result I almost asked her again to the point where she smiled and said have a good night.
wondering why she can’t be direct with me and or did I do something wrong?
I feel like maybe I’m too needy or I moved things too quickly. I’ve been in instant regret mode.
