Asking female friends to introduce you to girls? Is this a good idea?

I never entertained the idea of asking any female friends to introduce me to girls because I felt that that took my private life a little too public from the get go and it makes me look desperate. But now, I'm thinking that such means are good because I'll have a voucher for my non-creepiness through my friend.

Is this a good idea? I'd rather not ask for help, but it's not always easy to get a chance to get to know girls outside of class and parties.

Yes it's a good idea, it is an excellent idea. If you know a couple of chicks who your pretty good friends with yes you should ask them, if they have any single friends, and let me tell you why, the chicks you know are going to say good things about you, trust me on that they will, they will they will pick chicks that they like, which is going to weave out the sluts and the crazies. 9 times outta 10 they will pick a really good girl, sweet, non slutty, not prude, pretty, and a good personality.

Half of the work is already going to be done for you, your friends are going to make you look good, so this girl is going to want to meet you. I have done this numerous times, and you would be surprised on how many hot chicks they know, but they won't let just any guy date. From personal experience, I have gotten some smoking hot girls just by asking my chick friends to introduce me to their single friends.

You can inquire casually but I wouldn't put hopes on it and merely say you are looking for friends and prefer to talk to girls. This way you're reaching out but not committing to anyone.

Women deep down don't believe in male female friendships. They think that every male friend is just a guy not good enough to be a boyfriend to that girl. If you present yourself to your potential girlfriend as a guy with bunch of female friends, you'll most likely be rejected. You'll drop in "prestige".

Your problem is not meeting girls. It's hanging out with them.

My best guy friend asked me to find him a girl, and I've been unsuccessful this far. Not only is it difficult to find him a match, but I don't want to take responsibility of it if things go badly. He's getting impatient too... Apparently I have three weeks to find him a woman before he makes me his girlfriend. Good thing I'm deploying in four weeks, eh?

I don't see why that would be a bad thing.  I think it is kinda cute because it makes you look shy.  Just don't get into the habbit on askin your female friends to introduce you to girls.  I would do it for my guys friends.  It doesn't make you look desperate.  You can just make it seem like you just like to meet new people.

To be honest, That's the only thing a woman brings to the friendship table. I know I'll receive hate for this. But it's true. In a regular make female frirndship. She gets all her needs met by the male friend. We do not look for the same things in a friendship. So more often a man will feel like he's a girls emotional dumping ground. And what does he get in return. Nothing. That's been my experience anyways.

Don't do it. I tried it. She'll think you're beta. And that'll come across to her friends. Instead make up stories about girls numbers you've gotten and dates you've gone on.

Maybe subtle suggestions but i don't think that you should burden your friends with that responsibility unless they sound very open to it and excited but if they are not to keen dont push it .... Speaking from experience hope this helps

Sure, the only thing is that the girl you ask to basically set you up might get 'into' the relationship. Especially if you date a friend if hers. You might even lose this female friend if a breakup goes especially horribly.

It can get tricky. What if she likes you or if she doesn't have friends that will like you you'll think she's trying to keep you from dating or something so just be careful.
