Guys, if you saw someone walking down the street alone who was your absolute PERFECT dream person, what lengths would you go to, to win them over?

You're walking along out in public; you just went to the store or got some fast food or something. And see someone who seems to have popped directly out of your imagination, just walking down the street alone, content and somewhat happy looking. You're caught off guard, because you didn't expect this.

This person is literally EVERYTHING you would describe as your dream person in looks. Every single detail matches. They even seem to display traits or characteristics you'd like in personality as well.

You're caught off guard, because you didn't expect this. There's other people out in public, around you, so she doesn't notice or see you, but she's walking in another direction. You've only got a few seconds to think! In ten seconds, she'll be gone; down a subway station, into a taxi cab, on a bus, etc.

What do you do?

What are you going to say to seal the deal?

What is going to be your maximum game and charm you're going to run on her?

I know what I'd do, but it's hard to describe. My mind turns into another person, like Yugi Moto, and I become "Mr. Smooth Talker." Failure is not an option (but happens usually, anyway). What I mean is, "No mistakes can be made." So if she rejects me, it'll have been through absolutely no fault of my own or because of something stupid I said or did.

ANYWAY, WHAT WOULD YOU DO?

This is completely based on her appearance. Just remember that. I’ve actually had this happen 2-3 times in my life. It was like looking at an angel.

Depending on my own immediate schedule I might try to think fast of the most non-threatening way possible to “bump into her”. Definitely not walk behind her or directly walk up to her. Rather walk fast and make it look like I am on my way to somewhere else and just coincidentally walking close to her to get near where I need to get.

I would then make a comment about the surroundings (e. g. nice weather) or about something going on in the city/town. If she responds back I’ll try to keep the innocent conversation going. If she says nothing I’ll turn off on a different path and keep walking. Not say anything or look at her.

So if she responds I’ll carefully listen to her tone of voice (friendly vs surface polite). Glance at her hands for wedding rings. I’ll say “hey I am Joel nice to let you”. If she responds back with her name I’ll keep talking. If she just says “oh hello” and doesn’t identify herself then I’ll cut the convo short and shortly take a different turn to walk away.

If she does identify herself I’ll take a huge yet honest gamble. I’ll say “hey I know this is crazy and I don’t want to make you uncomfortable. But you seemed really cool. Im not sure if you have a boyfriend or something but I would like to call you sometime”.

That’s the moment of truth right there. Huge gamble. The worst she can say is “no thanks or sorry but I’m taken”. She might even not respond. If she doesn’t I will just say “well it was nice to meet you and hope you enjoy the rest of your day” and move on.

Anyway the days of women appreciating a random yet confident/handsome stranger approaching them are virtually long gone. Unfortunately they have been trained to believe every guy could be a threat. So directly approaching them in public like that is extremely risky. She would have to be in the perfect mood AND find you attractive. Not impossible but not likely. You have to think fast to “test the waters” without being creepy/threatening. Make her believe it was a coincidence you ran into her.

That's a decent strategy, except for the "bumping into her" part. That might annoy her more than anything. What I do is ask a question like I'm lost and if they know where any random store I name is located at, or if they know the time or anything, in order to gauge how friendly they are. A LOT of women nowadays are complete b*tches, as many men know already, so asking an innocent question will help determine how approachable or friendly she is. The key is to talk charming and confidently.

This is your dream partner in question though, so you can assume everything will go well and this might be the day you meet your future wife or life partner. It's sad to see so many men nowadays wouldn't even take the chance cause they've been embittered by so many Karens and feminists. I can't blame them.

Yeah I don’t mean to “physically” bump into her. But just coincidentally run into her.

But you got to check the dopamine explosion your feeling in your brain when you see her. It’s going to elevate your heart rate, adrenaline even blood pressure. It’s going to make your mind race.

While that sounds great for a romantic comedy and all in reality it will make you not be yourself. As hard as it is you have to pretend she’s just a regular woman you are not attracted to but just felt like having a friendly conversation with. That will calm you down and put her mind more at ease.

The bad manager I worked for as doorman in college taught me a really good mental trick years ago. If you see a beautiful woman and you want to talk with her first try to find some sort of physical flaw on her. It could be her nose, facial blemish, something you don’t like about her clothing, etc. Fixate on THAT for a moment. It won’t turn you completely off but it will bring your brain back to reality that’s she a human being not some fantasy princess. Once your brain switches back to reality it will be easier to feel comfortable around her because she will be less intimidating. It will be easier to joke with her.

Years ago while I was living in SoCal I remember a gorgeous burnette crossed the street and walked across me momentarily blocking my path to get somewhere. She reflexively said “I’m sorry” just to be polite. My jokingly shocked her and said “oh you better be”. She was jokingly caught off guard and actually laughed and smiled at me. I smiled cockily back at her and we exchanged names. I screwed up by not following up further (getting her number) but I had my foot in the door big time. It’s all because I did NOT treat her like a princess. I didn’t let her looks intimidate me.

Whether we admit it or not our male brains are mostly visually stimulated. You even admitted to the “love at first sight” when you posted this question.

This can make us act really stupid at times. But I tell you even the most beautiful woman has a physical flaw somewhere if you look hard enough for it. Find it and focus on it before interacting with her. It will make her less intimidating.

Women do this mental game all the time too. They are very good at picking up on details including the negative ones (naturally much better than guys are on this) They fear even more about losing control and looking desperate then we do.

I’d probably try to introduce myself, say why I am coming up to her, and admit, truthfully that I almost never ask out women this way, but thought I’d be kicking myself if I didn’t at least try to say hello and, if she’s not dating anyone, get her contact details. Honestly, I've never really approached in my entire life, I'm a such a chicken, so I'd more than likely chicken out.

If she's perfect, then she'd come up to me and make a move as soon as she'd see me, so it'd just be a matter of getting her attention, so maybe I'd walk up right in front of her, enough for her too see, without making it too obvious.

To try and actually make a move, I'd probably ask her about her hair, as I myself have long hair and ask her how she manages it, in terms of what products she uses.

My hair is stupid, like who has hair that's straight/wavy from the front and curly from the back?

I'd hope that would lead to some kind of conversation where we'd sit down and talk for a bit.

After that, I actually feel like I'd have enough confidence to tell her that she looks like my dream girl and I'd probably tell her about the myTake I wrote and how she manages to fit the description and I'd see how she'd respond - if she'd perfect, she'd at least take my number if she;s in a rush and we'd have a deep conversation from there, talking about long term relationship goals and just get to know each other.

Ideally, I'd be her dream guy in terms of looks too or at least as close to it as she'd ever get in her life.

I would untie one of my shoes, walk in front of her with my hands full and then trip in front of her and "accidentally" drop my stuff and start clumsily trying to pick it up and see if she offers to help (the type of woman I would care for probably would help).

While she is helping me, I would make some lame but low-key funny joke about how "moving to a new town" can make you scatter-brained. Then I would say something along the lines of "Thanks for your help. It would be a big honor if you let me treat you to some coffee as a thank you. Can we just call it a date then? I promise I'm not as clumsy around coffee" and then give her the most genuine smile I can muster.

I actually was in a similar situation where on the subway ride home from work she stood out and the train was packed. I just observed her body language and left it at that. Afterwards I started noticing more of her on my rides home then fast forward 7 months later we started talking then dating. Long story short she made a confession that whenever she saw me in the 7 month period prior she said she would always be checking me out hoping I would notice her and talk to her.

Women are being taught than any man can be a “threat” nowadays.

The problem is the incidents of catcalling/sexual harassment are now very easy to record and publicize. By itself it’s not a bad idea to call out true aggressive creeps. But when those incidents get put up on YouTube and seen/shared everywhere it leaves women with extra paranoia with them thinking “oh that could be me”. So they view random men as even more suspiciously as they did 20+ years ago.

Thoughtful guys will hesitate to approach out of paranoia. Sadly it could be a lost opportunity for both of them.

It depends on how the man presents himself. If he's acting suspicious or just handing out creepy "wow i looove your skirt..." statements, that's weird. But a guy complimenting me or just being sweet makes my day. It all depends on how you present yourself... and how old you are!!!

There was a time in my late 20s where I often got attention from girls 18-21. But those days are pretty much long gone.

But regardless of the girls age almost any guy would be an creepy moron to say “wow I looove your skirt” to a random girl he met out in public. There is maybe 1 in a 1000 chance that might work if 1) he’s very good looking 2) she’s in a good mood. But either way I never said that to random even when I was in prime looks back in my 20s.

With all that said it’s too bad there isn’t a non-threatening way a man of any age can approach a woman within dating age range (rule of thumb is half his age plus 7) and not be paranoid about it.

Years ago guys encouraged guys to be “confident” and do this. But radical feminism, culture and metoo has scared the hell out of most well meaning guys (true creeps will never care)

I know a lot of feminists have scared men away from even taking a shot of talking to a girl nowadays (especially in Orwellian hellholes like the UK and Australia), but in the US, South Korea, and most of the rest of the world, just talking to someone still isn't a crime. The problem is back in my 20s/early 30s (I’m actually 41 now) LOTS of girls thought I was cute. I could approach almost any one of them and 9 times out of 10 they would be at least surface polite if they weren’t interested but they would usually smile back and be friendly. The only time they ever turned me down is if they already had a boyfriend (but that didn’t stop some of them from handing out their number anyway). The only true risk I faced back then was other jealous bfs getting aggressive because they saw me as a threat (I was never “creepy” aggressive).

Although I have had many people tell me I look good for my age the truth is I don’t have the boyish charm like I used to. In the last five years I’ve had women act really bitchy for just saying hello. I am not hitting on girls half my age either. Dating range is late 20s to mid 30s.

That doesn’t happen all the time but it’s happened. Need to move on from bad experiences. But when I was younger I almost never got the “oh you creep” look. Really depressing when I started experiencing that reaction from women in my late 30s.

If you rush to close the deal at the first moment, it has very few chances of working out in my opinion.
What i would like to do is to break the ice with some activity which can engage the person with me for a relatively longer time than a usual small question would.
e. g. Im doing this type of research et and im selecting random people so would you like to answer some of my questions if i SEND you the questionnaire etc.
I would personally seek such ways to get a connection to that person on any social network and find out slowly about them.
