I've known this girl for about a year. We go to the same church and she's fourteen. I'm trying to figure out if she likes me or not. Just for context, I go to a private school and she goes to a public school. So Sundays and Wednesdays are the only days I see her. Anyway here the reasons I think she might like me:
She said I'd make a great husband and father someday.
I took complimented her music skills and then she sent me a text with just heart emojis.
She said she was having a terrible day. And then I told her an funny and kinda dumb thing I did the other night, and then she had a huge smile giggled. That was the first time she smiled the whole night.
There's a chance I might be overthinking this one. But, she liked a photo of me exercising at the gym.
During a youth meeting at church (I'm in charge of the tech stuff and she sings during youth group worship.) She said the people in her new school are mostly all selfish dinguses, and she wished they were more like me.
Now, here are some reasons I don't think she likes me:
I'm always starting the conversations, otherwise she doesn't talk to me.
I sat next to her during summer camp and she got up and sat somewhere else. (There wasn't a gender related reason we couldn't sit together, she just didn't want to.)
About half the time she reads my texts and then doesn't respond. (Again. There's a chance I might be overthinking this one.)
So do you think guys think she likes me or is just being friendly. And if she does like me, how can I bring this up without making her uncomfortable? Any advice is appreciated.
