How would you describe the rate me scale?

my description:

1-3: below average, usually not the ones who get approached or never get any compliments

4-6: average, they’re OK. Not very pretty/handsome, and if you were to date them it’d be because of their personality/charisma/vibe etc.

7-9: above average, they are the pretty or good looking ones that usually get compliments and people look at them twice. I feel like 8-9 are models and actresses and 7 is your usual “pretty/hot/cute girl”

10: not humanly possible, but if someone is a 9, they can be a 10, based off what the other person prefers…

Yeah, I agree, that sounds about right. I'd put 4s in the 1-3 category but it's still reasonable either way. 10s are definitely based on the person's preference so I agree there too.

So what’s the difference between a 7 and a 8? Is it preference? Because I feel like very few women are 9s and 10s… mostly fall under 5/6 and then some 7/8s

I agree. 10’s just don’t really exist. Your 9’s might have one small flaw maybe they’re too short or their butt is just a tad bit big. Your 7’s and 8’s probably have great personalities and very sweet girls that you could bring home to Mom but could have a couple issues such as hair is too curly or too straight and maybe they wear glasses and their boobs might be a bit too big or too small or they’re maybe too pale. They might have like a short temper or be kinda dingy. These are girls that are just missing or have these one or two traits that keep them from a 9.

For guys they might be to self absorbed or they have a small belly or they’re too hairy. Maybe they wear glasses or they are too quiet. Stuff like that.

The 5 or 6 women are usually kinda pretty but maybe they’re bitchy. Or they have a great personality but they’re missing things on their bod. Could be a big butt or weird shaped boobs. Or they might have a little pudge belly but great boobs and nice butt. Maybe they like sports too but they have these one or two issues.
