Is there any food you don't particularly eat on the first date?
1.4K opinions shared on Dating topic. Yeah, whatever the most expensive thing on the menu is... if you're on date with guy as the women do not go with the most expensive item on the menu... don't go with the cheapest either... try to get something in the middle.
You buy the most expensive thing, and guys will think you are pretty self-centered, or high maintenance... you by the cheapest thing then they will think you are simple or playing hard to get. The same is true to for the man, if he goes with the most expensive thing, then the women may think he is trying too hard to impress her, if goes with he cheapest thing, then she will think he is a cheapskate.
Other than take stay away from messy foods, or finger foods... it's just not classy.

"If you already avoided certain food on a date, then don't go in the first place".
It's people with their weird ass rules that make dating a shitstorm.

+1 yNothing. If you want something, get it. But I despise dates where we meet in a restaurant, it's just too "aaarghhhh" yo so I'm used to going on fun dates. I once went on a date with this one guy and for our first date, he took me skydiving and then afterward to a nice restaurant to get food, He got himself the most expensive wine on the menu and I got myself a bottle of water & some wings and I ate with my hands. He covered the bill and never questioned me about my choices. He wasn't showing off and I wasn't being cheap. It's just what we both felt like having at the time.
Soo get whatever you want lol. There's no right time to get certain food and when not to😅00 Reply

+1 yThere are several factors I consider, mostly who is paying. If I'm paying for my own meal? Nothing, lol. If I'm paying for it, I'm going to eat what I want if it's something I'm craving!
And before anyone says, "You don't want bad breath if he kisses you..."
First of all, I rarely, if ever kiss someone I barely know on the first date so that's not an issue. Second, that's what breath mints are for: put some in your purse or pocket!
Now if the guy pays, my rule is this: don't buy anything too expensive! Honestly that should be the case for anytime you eat out and someone else pays! That's just common courtesy.00 Reply

00 Reply1.7K opinions shared on Dating topic. Things that smell strongly like garlic, certain spices.
But I wouldn't eat anything heavy. I'd keep it light, just to the point of no longer being hungry, but not more than that.

+1 yFoods that might make you smell like asparagus and men should avoid coffee if it makes their mouth smell bad.

@Gooddaze I find more men have coffee breath than women but anything that makes you smell bad should be avoided, whether you're a man or a woman.

u +1 yI avoid food in general on the first date. No point spending money on food when most first dates are a waste of time. I stick to drinks like a coffee or meeting at a bar for the first date. Food is for the second date.

+1 yUm nothing? Unless you're allergic to certain foods. The only thing I avoid is foods I don't like. But you shouldn't avoid a food cause you think your date will judge you over it or you feel insecure about what you like to eat. if they do make negative comment or suggestions over it, then they aren't worth going on a second date with at all.

Whatever you do, you must restrain yourself from drinking the prune juice. Itâs my favorite too, but we must restrain,
so we donât strain in flood pains 💩, while we lose our âdating pool gains.â 💪
Let that be a lesson to ya âď¸😌
