Thoughts on dating coworkers? what are the positives and negatives?

Office rumor, much less probability of promotion, unsettling of Team, and stricter examination of what is said and done by both parties, can't be Work Wife, and have to be zero contact on site especially nonverbal cues etc. People are not stupid and Managers do not want to be forced into Action due to Workplace Relationship.

I don't see any pluses?

It's a nope for me. Because I'm not willing to chance relationship drama making it's way into my work place. Also ironically my last straw with social media was when a couple coworkers I befriended on facebook had a really bad breakup. So not only was it playing out at work it was very much playing out on social media. So I promptly took myself all social media I was on at the time and GOG has been as close to it as I get for years.

@Guy13 said it perfectly. I will just add that after 35 years of being out in the workforce I have not once seen a dating situation in the work place end well. Not once. There are no positives.
