For me, looks matter. They’re just not everything that matters. An ugly face destroys a good personality. No matter what kind of a soul a woman has, if she’s not pretty, it’s a dealbreaker for me. I don’t fall for fairy tales believing the inside is all that matters; that’s total BS. Looks matter regardless.
it's a tough red-pill to swallow which is too uncomfortable for many to accept as it completely destroys one's worldview that had constantly been taught.
if you tell a lie long enough repeatedly it will become the truth but at the end of the day it's still a lie. society can only gaslight you for so long but the truth will always prevail and rear its ugly head out for you to see.
there's a saying that looks open the door but personality keeps you there, often people are under the assumption that the vast majority of people have opened the door which simply isn't true so if you happen to fail, it's because of "your personality" which is pure bullshit. personalities take months, sometimes years to fully unravel. due to the halo effect and the dreaded horned effect, your looks basically determines your personality according to prejudiced people. good looks = good personality. bad looks = bad personality. if our species evolved into blind telepaths, then it'll be a different story but currently we are a visual species where our eyesight exceeds all our other senses.

They do matter but not that much so many of the kindest most interesting talented people aren’t very good looking
I went to school with a girl who if not for her name and voice you’d mistake for a guy but despite being so physically unattractive she was really sweet and funny as hell so everyone liked her
the only people who didn’t like her were people who didn’t know her because they didn’t give her a chance because she was not very easy on the eyes, poor and looked so unkempt
you miss out on meeting a lot of awesome people when judge solely by what’s on the surface
I notice people who always rant about this are those who go after good looking people themselves. I think it is a projection. They don’t want to feel bad about going after attractive people so they try to use that personality bullshit excuse to jusfity their preference or high standards. I am not saying that look is everything. I am just pointing out that it is an important trait that we all would consider before getting emotionally involved with the opposite gender.
Of course they matter but they matter in different levels for different people.

I accept that as a fact and I am a people.
Of course they are important. I'm an unattractive guy, so it's always been a struggle for me to attract women in that way. But in cases like mine, it just takes extra work and finding that special lady who sees beyond looks. And her not wearing glasses when she should be always helps 🤣
I think the more you hang out with someone and like their personality the less what they look like matters. You start staring at them with rose colored glasses. Of course that is different for everyone
Looks do matter! They have always mattered for men and women.
Anyone... ANYONE who tells you otherwise is telling a lie.
People may have different preferences but society usually dictates what we find attractive.
to an extent yes looks do matter but if you really see the value in that person, i don't think you should care if they look like a model or not.
I have accepted that since middle school 🏫
The younger you realize, The more you accept and mature.
Some people are shallow.
I’d say, tho, most people respond to confidence and personality. Obvi the hot chick gets noticed. But if she’s a moron it turns sour fast.Im going to respectfully disagree. Wait until you meet the attractive girl thats a total Bitch. Personality first, looks come secondary if at all.
With your attitude, you will remain single forever.
Personality is key, whether you want to accept it or not.
we all know that But don't want to say ankthing! odd I think
Cuz most people are used to enjoy sweet lies rather than accept the bitter truth
