What do you do when you want to get married and have kids but no one wants you?

That's the case with me. I'm an unattractive girl, never been asked out, never been flirted with, never had anyone have a crush on me, never had anyone complimented me, never had my first kiss or even held hands, none of that. And to men I am invisible.

I really want to find a guy I can spend the rest of my life with. A guy around my age that I'm compatible with and has the same religion as me. I want to get married and have children, but I don't know how the heck I'm supposed to find someone when men won't even look at me. What should I do?

If you're profile age is accurate then I'd tell you that, yes, it sucks for no one to want you. BUT... it will happen. I know that's not exactly what you want to hear from an old guy, but it will happen. There is a person who will desire you and love you.

In the meantime, you can help by talking to people. Being inquisitive. Being noticeable either through what you say, or wear, or do.

Remember this, too: even if a guy your age notices you, he may be petrified of approaching you. So although I acknowledge that you feel invisible, the truth is you're probably not.

I hope so, it just feels like everyone wants to get away from me. When I speak I'm called annoying, it hurts when I'm just being myself and people tell me to shut the fuck up. Now I barely speak anymore because of all the times I've been called ugly and annoying.

That sucks and I'm really sorry that's happening. I know it's easy for me to say as someone older, but just keep speaking up. Maybe you don't have to open your mouth about everything, but you'll know you're right when you do. In fact, very often, when I was called "annoying" by people I went to school with or my brothers it was because I was right or was saying something they didn't want to hear. Keep talking. Look in the mirror and tell yourself "I know this." "I've got this." Incrementally (and it may be really slowly) you'll find less people call you annoying. Or, better, other people will take notice and say, "she's got her shit together". It takes time. And the process sucks. But one day at a time, like taking a beach in a war.

You're still young, there's plenty of time to find someone to have a family with. There's no rule saying you need to be married and have kids by a certain age. In the meantime, enjoy your single years! This is the time in life to develop skills, start new hobbies, make friends, find passions, develop your style, grow as a person, and learn to love your own company.
