Guys, would you rather know if a girl is on her period before a date?

If sex is most likely going to happen would you rather know the girl is on her period or would you be ok with the surprise? Would you cancel a date if you found out?

Yes I’d like to know but never to cancel. It’s so that I can be better prepared to care for her. For example my bestie came to visit for Thanksgiving and told me her shark week was coming. So I made sure to have chocolates in my fridge and made sure to give her extra time for all functions.
