If you don't seek resolution and merely seek to punish each other for subjectively perceived grievances, your relationship will be going down the toilet real fast.
Because the silent treatment doesn't SOLVE anything; it just delays the argument and makes sure everyone is mad, instead of just her. If there's a problem, bring it up, discuss it, and come to an answer. Doing otherwise is just immature.
Silent treatment is unhealthy and toxic. Anyone who does it is a fool.

Both are immature. If she needs to have space to calm down and have a rational discussion that is reasonable. Ignoring someone to try to make a point just shows me how immature you are.
Because men are problem solvers so silent treatment does nothing to solve the problem
It's worse. By being silent she hides everything together and at some point she will unleash everything together.
