Divorce is just a failed relationship that had been made official.
We act like dating and failing makes the relationship less of a toxic reason they got divorced.
We fail every relationship until we finally find the right person. There really is only 1 successful relationship for each person.
When you get married and it's not the right one you either suffer through it or get divorced.
But a failed marriage is the same as a failed non marriage relationship when it comes to the causes of the failure.(didn't find the right person)
Just they end up with consequences of alimony or child support. Child support could still result in a non married couple.
I agree mostly, except in cases where someone dies, then that isn't a failed relationship. The other person can move on and find another successful relationship.
Once is not his fault, thrice is kinda his fault
I never would... how much proof does one need that this person is not the marrying type.
I am going to probably say NOOOOOO lol
Why do u get so many downvotes
Fake accounts GAG is aware
Why do they hate you so much?
They hate themselves. It’s sad really.
I don't see anything wrong with your opinions
I also get many downvotes
It’s all good
I don't get it why would anyone spend their times hating on someone from 9 fake accounts🤣
I say knock yourself out …wastes of space
Exactly hahaha

Most likely not, but I would still give them the chance to explain it. What if they chose bad people who kept cheating on them? No one makes someone else cheat on you.
I can't believe someone would get married that many times, like geez... even if someone was cheating on you, screw getting married.
A chance to explain? Who do you think you are? Will you explain all of your failed relationships? You’re sounding very judgmental. Are you ready to be judged as well?
@DrillBeats I think it is rather nice to give them the chance to explain, otherwise it is a simple nope, don't matter, don't explain, not taking that chance, get lost.
However I require all history be shared for both of us... to avoid any unpleasant surprises in the future, that would lead to the termination of the relationship. So yeah, I got no issues with explaining myself either. I am the one that insists up on it.
Good luck with that! Lol
@DrillBeats It's dumb not to. That way you aren't crying later that she/he screwed you over, because your chances are a lot better when you do your due diligence and know the score before you paly the game.
Probably not. One thing I definitely wouldn’t do is marry her or cohabit with her.
3 times? At the point I wouldn't even bother with a 4 and just stay single.
Sounds like a turn off to me. With three failed marriages that seems like a situation where someone isn’t owning up to the harm they cause in relationships
I am dating some who had been divorced twice already... so why not? Doesn't mean I will be marrying her.
@AmeerX Just because you want to date someone, does not mean you don't or won't marry her. But you got to start somewhere... women start talking marriage off the bat then I usually end it or put the relationship back into perceptive... but not commenting to marriage or going to stop dating her, but I am honest about it and need time to see how the relationship unfolds.
@AmeerX Nothing... but I am not going to start dating someone with the idea that I am going to marry her... you got to give it time and see how the relationship works out. And she needs to understand that, and if that's a deal breaker for her... then she is someone I would not want to marry someday anyway.
I want date someone for 1 year, before considering if I will move in with her... and then I want to live with her for 1 year before I consider marriage.
Most women I have date are 100% good with that approach and for the ones that aren't, then she is not the women for me, and I am fine with that as well.
According to our question, you said she's been married twice before... so think about that. Sure the guys might of been assholes, but she played a part as well. You are only hearing her story, but at the very lease she is might be prone to bad decision making. So for someone like that I would date her, but I would take it slow when comes to marriage and really think about that. really make sure she is the right type foo women for me, but I would never know that if I do not date her, and she does not allow or afford me the time to figure that out.
I mean two divorces and she is pushing for a third Marriage... I mean that's a Red Flag especially if she is pushing too hard and too fast for me.
I mean honestly out of all the women I have dated, who insist upon serious long-term relationship with the intent to get married... well, those types of women seem to struggle the most within their relationship with men... just what I have learned and seen from personal experience.
I am usually very honest with them, about my approach to marriage and make sure they understand that I am going to take my time about it. But am more than willing to date them and invest the time to see how it works out.
I am dating women right now with two divorces and she is more than happy to take her time as well. She knows she had made bad choice before, and really wants to take time and is more than willing to invest in a relationship for years to make sure. I have 1 divorce myself; I do not want a second and she does not want a third. Because she had made those mistakes before... and really wants to change the pattern.
@AmeerX Wait! You write “I am on your side on that one that if she married 3 times already then I would have to be cautious too” when @DaveJord wrote that he would be cautious when it comes to marrying a woman who has been divorced 3x, but criticized @Areissa_Jade for writing the same thing about a man who had been divorced 3x? Jade simply wrote that she would talk with the guy and give him the opportunity to explain the circumstances surrounding the 3 divorces. I promise you I am not trying to be a bitch here, or play the “gotcha” game. I am genuinely curious why when Jade articulated that she would be cautious and use due diligence before marrying someone w/ three divorces you admonished her for being “judgmental” but when dave articulated the same principal, you wrote that you agreed w/ him and wrote that you would be cautious too. What’s the difference?
@CrazyGirl2 I told him he should be weary but if he intended to marry then it is good with me too. Actually, I sided with aerissa jade because she said she will ask the reason at least. Dave here was not dating a 2 or 3 times divorced lady with intention to marry at all to begin with. So, I said no.
I said I would settle with a girl if she was 3 times divorced provided I was in my late age.
You got it mixed up with someone else).
No, It is fine
@AmeerX I never said I would never marry a 3 x divorced women, or that I dated some without the intention of ever marrying her...
My piont was that when start dating someone marriage is not a primary concern for me... that intentions develop over time... depending on how the relationship deveolps. But I have to give every relationship a time to breath and develop before I make any determination about marriage.
I have dated women who were divorced and have sworn to never marry again because they do not believe in marriage and believe that they can have a very loving and emotional fulfilling outside of marriage, that can even be stronger than most people have inside of marriage. I did not stop dating them because there was no intention to ever marry.
On the flip side I have date women who wanted to marriage, but again I made it clear that I would need time to make that determination and if they wanted to move faster toward marriage then I then I ended it.
But the number of previous divorces were irrelevant to me, because I was not a part of her previous relationships, but I know what I want and respect in a woman and if she is doing those things of course at some point I would consider marriage. Case in point I am dating some now with 2 x divorces and so far she is amazing and is exactly the type of women I would marry... but we are nowhere near even discussing that possibility at this point.
@AmeerX Oh, okay hun my mistake. I must have misunderstood it, thanks for the clarification, I apreciate that.
@CrazyGirl2 @DaveJord
No problem ))
I would be weary. But It would depend on what the story was. But I would be weary.
Nope. This is someone who does not take marriage seriously. Either they rush into marriage or they do not have what it takes to stick through thick or thin for some reason. I can understand being divorced once, but once should be enough and make someone more careful.
If you are dating properly, you are not getting married until knowing someone AT A MINIMUM 2-3 years. Then you are married for however long and then the divorce takes time, plus you should be taking time to heal before dating again. That is with the first marriage and you should learn your lesson then.
If you get married a 2nd time, you should take the lessons learned the first time around. If the 2nd marriage fails after all of that, then it really is just not meant to be.
I have a boyfriend but if I was single the answer would be no only because I don't really wanna date nor be in a relationship with someone who's had that many setbacks or fails in their marriage the only exception I could think of is if they were cheated on or abused, or lost their spouse but if this was due to their fault or something is just going wrong over and over then no. I don't want a man with baggage just like men don't want a woman with baggage. It works both ways. If a guy has a kid, I wouldn't mind that as long as the mother and ex isn't a drama queen but being divorced 3 times is a red flag to me.
The people I’ve known who’ve been divorced more than once have also shown many other areas of their life where they lack discipline and judgement. They even referred to their second marriage as their “accidental marriage.” 😑
Overall it might depend on the circumstances. If they jump from marriage to marriage then that’s of course a major problem. I also know people who remained single for years after divorce so that they could learn, grow, and confront/fight their demons. I’d be much more confident approaching that situation.
There is a lady who I re-connected with on social media, who I knew in college when I was 19. Since then, I see on public records, that she has been divorced 3 times. Now why this was, I don't know. Very pretty lady and smart and nice. However how I remember her in college and how she is on social media of course doesn't show the whole story. Could be a variety of reasons, some of which might be her issue, or the issues of the previous husbands. Anyway I do plan on meeting up with her sometime next year. She lives about 4 hours away so it isn't like we are going to jump right into a dating relationship anyway... LOL
Probably not! I would not have any problem dating a divorced man, as sometimes things just don’t work out. If he were twice divorced, well then I guess if he had a good explanation sure why not…. But THREE divorces? Nah, there is definitely something up w/ that guy, he is just NOT cut out for marriage!
@AmeerX Well, first of all “widows” are women whose husband’s have died, a man whose wife died is called a widower. So obviously I would not marry a widow, as I’m not a lesbian!
@AmeerX No, I would not marry a man who lost 3 wives because they died! I don’t know if the guy has incredibly bad luck, or he’s found a despicable way to avoid divorce, but I am not one to ever tempt fate!
@AmeerX Three spouses dying is one too many! It seems highly suspicious, that’s just my feeling, and I am not going to change it. I don’t know why you’re making this a thing? Don’t you ask questions to get peoples opinions?
@AmeerX You are most welcome.
Depends on who divorced who.
If the person divorced all three, I’d believe that was their decision to avoid the high probability of being engaged to terrible people.. we don’t live in a perfect world..
if they were divorced three times by their three different partners, I would at least ask them about it, but I probably wouldn’t advance the relationship.. 🤷♀️
Hell yes I would more likely be open to a woman I am more prone to feel her soul has allowed her to fall for guys live the love then make a move? maybe after not being loved, for a guy I would be more cautious in the choices he makes and then it does not suit so he moves on... from young I realised mostly girls have to leave the guys, it will be pushed and pushed to the limit, guys will live in mundane or misery for much longer... and then be totally shocked on the fallout day! just my opinion of course from my experiences and what I've seen too... it would be cool to hear especially from guys where its your girl that isn't listening and you wanna walk?
Date = sure
Marry= i would have some trust issues and ask him deeply first why he was divorced 3 times. And the i would investigate behind his back about it by asking her ex husbands, friends and family.
If there are no extreme red flag then i wiuld Mary him

fuck no. i wouldn't even date someone who was previously married, previously engaged, or has had children. thankfully i don't have to deal with that. but damn... hell no. that baggage is just unbelievable.
Nope. I'll tell you why. I've been told EVERY DAY... sometimes multiple times daily, to "Take responsibility for my actions." I just saw a Craigslist ad locally a few mins ago... Single mom needs help. "Taking donations! Help! Single mom of 3 and currently pregnant and have nowhere to go!" Hmm... let's see. So she code AT LEAST 2, if not 3 or more baby daddy douchebags who ALL disappeared on her... she CHOSE them all. What opportunities she may have had... pissed them all away. I've seen women collect HUNDREDS of dollars panhandling with AND without kids... and even when I lost everything in a massive winter storm that shut down the entire state, people wouldn't give me so much as a can of bernie weenies. So... now I'm supposed to feel supportive towards someone who has made a CAREER out of making shitty choices, when I know for a fact the ONLY thing they've known how to do... is quit? That's suicidal. No thanks.👋
If he's genuinely a good person I think is worth giving them a chance. Some people are just unlucky when it comes to find someone to share a life with.
My uncle is unlucky with 2 divorces. I think people shouldn't be judgmental.
He is not my real uncle but I think he is a friend now. I hope he isn't reading but I think he is a great man. He should take care of his health more often. And please don't feel bad if you are old. You are still never going to be older than father ))
I miss him sometimes. The man is like an uncle I never had
Simple

Yes I would! Stuff happens and sometimes it's the fault of other people and not the person you are coupling with.
Had I been younger I would say no. My preference is a virgin like myself but I will forego it if she was pretty, had no or just one boy and her ex will not contact her.
I feel bad for these people hating a girl like her. Please have mercy, God watches your judgmental comments
That's a clear indicator that there's something wrong with that person when it comes to relationships. Red flag for me.
Nah. I don’t like to rule anyone out because everyone has their individual reasons and some can be valid. But in all honesty, I dated a divorced guy (giving him the benefit of the doubt) and it turned out he said he doesn’t think he’ll ever be over his ex. So I couldn’t run with it anymore after a couple of years because I didn’t want to constantly feel like I’d never compare to his ex.
Besides several exceptions, I would never marry a divorced man, so what is the purpose of dating one then?
Not if I want a lasting relationship. She clearly can't handle that. So any dating with her should be seen as temporary. Until something with better potential shows up. This is the only time you should trade up when you got an unreliable partner.
Are you only here to ask divorce questions? Cause you might regret that handle otherwise. Just mentioning.
If they were a great match, sure. Lot’s of reasons it could happen that many times.
Absolutely not. I don't time to figure out what the heck was going on with those choices. She's probably damaged goods, so it would have to be an unusual circumstance.
I would prefer to date someone who has never been married
Hypothetically, it doesn't sound like a problem. There are so many circumstances that can lead to a person divorcing 3 times.
You know what they say, third time's the charm. But you're going into overtime now.
Hmm. I am naturally inclined to say no but it really depends. Someone can get bad lucky.. but thing is I would worry he is too picky and he will eventually get rid of me too.
Date them? Sure. They had to be marriage material in the first place, right? Which isn't saying a lot. For you to even entertain the thought of dating them means you are probably old and flush with baggage yourself.
No, because there's something seriously wrong and there's a such thing as being emotionally wounded which takes time to heal for along time but the person may not change especially when they're the problem.
I would have to know why he got married so many times and what each divorce was about before I decided.
How did she get married even once... I can even keep a decent guy
Yes as long as they meet my other standards.
I wouldn’t date someone who has been divorced once.
Hahahaha! Lowering standards is how divorce happens. Have some self respect, dude. Ell oh ell!
When did i ever suggest i want a twenty-four year old?
You assume too much and it makes you appear foolish.
No. Once divorced, maybe. But three times . . . It would be clear he's the common factor, can't communicate, or won't put in the work.
I’m always open for dates however I wouldn’t marry there person because I wouldn’t want to be victim number 4.
Likely not. Using logical deduction, they possess toxic traits that are unsuitable in a marriage.
Oh hell no. Getting married as a man is a shit deal as it is but getting married to a 3X failure of marriage... oh hell no.
Personally when I was single I would not have. That is too much baggage for me
Can I ask you a question?
Casually yes but there is no commitment or future with that person even divorced once as far as I'm concerned.
Not if I was looking for a long time commitment leading to marriage.
Date? Like casually dating? Maybe.. For a bit.. Dating seriously with the thought of marriage? Nope..
Statistically, if your goal is to get divorced, then it’s a good idea to marry someone divorced three times. There is less than a 1 in 10 chance of the marriage lasting after the 3rd divorce.
If you don't have a problem passing all your Family inheritance and everything you worked toward down to kids that aren't your family and have no respect for you or your family. You are free to make any decision you want.
You do know that there are wills, right? There are also trusts, and any number of tools that allow you to ensure where your assets go after your death. Before you write “they can contest the will” you need to know that potential plaintiffs need “STANDING” to be able to bring any lawsuit, including the contestation of a will. Adult step-children generally do not have standing to contest a will. Well as far as my understanding, anyway.
@CrazyGirl2 Except, The spouse wouldn't have what they have without a naive persons' efforts by their side. Do you think the spouse is going to stick around with a Will that doesn't include his children? They are looking for a sucker.
Reality is a very different place than your comments.
@CrazyGirl2 In reality, Marriage is an investment. It "IS" about money, not love. The fact that over 60% of marriages are unhappy and they don't get a divorce proves it's about money, not love. Wake up Cinderella.
You don't need a marriage certificate if it's just love.
I do agree, there's a lot of suckers out there.
Okee dokee. 👍🏼
Yes, but I would want to know what happened and what they had learned pretty quickly.
Probably not. If it's been that many times I would imagine they had at least some blame
Would you divorce somebody who had only dated three times?
Probably not most especially if he claims all his exes were the crazy ones.
I'd say No as the odds are not so good that #4 would last either!
No. They obviously cannot make it work on the third try. Who want leftovers and damaged goods.
Yes, but I would ask him if he can afford a divorce more. lol
I am not officially opposed to it but its hard to imagine the situation in which that would happen.
It may be bad luck so no prejudice, as long as he doesn't have more than 2 kids
i dont love marriage so i wouldn't want to be with somebody whod want to get married
Nah, I'm good. That's not a red flag; that's a radioactive flag covered in blood!
I would Date them, probably won't Marty them. But then again I'm on my 2nd marriage, ND probably would never do a 3rd marriage. Even if this one ever fails. But so far so good.
