Is it normal to have second thoughts before asking someone out?

Was thinking of asking my crush out in a week or so but I'm having second thoughts all of a sudden. We've been talking for a few months

Interesting i was in your situation for 4 months I was talking to a guy I met online and I was away for a job issue etc. He first asked to meet and see where it goes
But then day before I was coming back to my country I asked him about meeting sad he said he doesn't think he is going to be in a romantic relationship with me. It broke my heart even nowadays I’m crying so much because i trusted an aim he a lie I got fooled. And I don’t deserve it be what I know myself who I am.
He gave me dreams hopes etc I accepted him even though he had some bad flaws to meet him and give it a chance. I was even happy about it. But he cut my hopes short and I think he lost an amazing girl. I basically never date randomly I’m Loyal etc


So I think why not just give it a chance , ask her see how she is and how is goes. maybe she is like me having dreams of hanging out with you. Life is so short and sometimes we take chances for granted what if she is the one. Dint think so seriously.


I’m going to personal but my cousin dies at leukemia at 30 years old. Her and her best friend rushed to get married and love their love life only for 4 months because not even her or him had the courage to say it that I love you. By the time the said I love you it was to late.. her disease was already spread.


Don’t take life so seriously don’t doubt just wake up and meet people give people chances
If it didn’t work it’s ok everything is a lesson for you your become stronger

Why have second thoughts? You have been talking for a few months, why not test it out and see if talking for those few months is worth your time to continue?

Absolutely normal. Asking someone out is a big deal. Maybe you should just ask her out and see what happens. If you have serious concerns though. Maybe not.

I think it's normal to have second thoughts, especially if it's ur crush who you haven't gone out with yet. But you can also think why ur having second thoughts? Is it cause your afraid that she's going to say no, or is there something else?

Maybe, doubt always plays a role in fear of rejection.
