Why are both not possibilities?
There can be instant mutual attraction and chemistry. It might be uncommon but it is not suspicious.
They seem interested quickly but than later on dropped me and no longer talks to me
Well that can happen too. You quite possibly have been fascinated by some guy than lost all interest when he has shown himself to be a dork.
I don't think it hurts to see if someone is sufficiently interested to stick around. If there is instant attraction/chemistry than it is pretty obvious on both sides and I think both will be willing to wait a little. The dividing line for me is if the girl is going to continue to be in my social space.
If she is a random girl at a club then I will just go with it. If she is a friend of a friend I am going to be more cautious. I'll want to see if she is flaky or has some character because for some reason I have a vulnerability for flaky girls and it never ends well.
The net upshot is you have instant attraction but take the time to also build it up in slower time.
yes. it is possible its rare but it does happen
