Ghosted/played or overthinking?

Hey so I’ve Gone on 3 dates with a guy. He’s always been pretty horrible at texting. Every time where together he’s seems very interested in me and says he wants a relationship.

Things got pretty heated the last date and he said he had a really good time. My mom was flying in to visit me and he said he wanted to meet her etc etc.

we kind of texted the next couple of days saying how he had so much fun and how he really likes me.

it’s been almost 2 weeks I messaged him twice with no response. He’s been active on social media. Kind of getting the feeling that maybe he just wanted to hook up and I’m being ghosted.

am I over reacting? Any advice? I don't know

you had sex (i'm assuming that's what heated means in this situation), while he was likely talking to other girls, because dating... so he probably vibed better with someone else. he said that mom thing because well it probably just sounded good in the moment/sentence

i just know that if someone isn't answering your messages, yet is active online, they are definitely avoiding you but they don't want to confront you because they don't want to be mean.
