I will be honest here that I have been with my girlfriend for three years. I love her to death and never imagined myself cheating on her but once went out with my old high school friends. There was a girl very similar to the one in the picture I shared wearing very small shorts and sat on me without my awareness or knowing she was going to do that. She just randomly sat on me while I was talking with my friend. I got extremely horny because she wasn’t wearing any underwear. I could feel it. Her warmth of her vag. I think that cheating isn't gender specific that oy men will cheat. I personally think everyone has equal chance of cheating that is 50-50. 50% the person will cheat 50% they will stay loyal with you. Cheating is not like given opportunity and they will cheat. And loyal is that even they have been given full freedom and opportunity, still they won't even think about cheating nor physically nor mentally nor emotionally. And even if a person has a mindset of cheating and even if he dont have any opportunity of cheating, he is will make and then cheat. Cheating isn't opportunity or situation based but choice based. Cheaters will choose to cheat its not like they were forced to cheat or else they were shot dead.

The numbers range from 21% to 40% of men, single or married, admit to cheating. Married men alone - the number is anywhere from 30%-40%. I haven't researched the veracity of this survey, but this particular one came up with data that says " If you were guaranteed you'd never get caught, would you cheat" ? 74% of men said yes.

@loveslongnails Keep in mind what I was talking about is people who cheat, not who say they would if they knew they wouldn't get caught.

There are a lot of studies out there, and the results vary somewhat from study to study, but they pretty consistently show the majority of men never cheat. By your own numbers, 60% - 79% of men never cheat, which is pretty consistent what I said.

I've seen the reference that claimed 74% of men (and 68% of women) say they would cheat if they knew they wouldn't get caught. It wasn't a study at all, but rather an opinion provided by a private detective agency. If you think about it, they have a vested interest in convincing people that everyone cheats because it's good for business. I don't think anyone should take their claims as seriously when they are so different from the large number of credible studies that show very different results, especially when you consider their motive.

So yeah, I stand by what I wrote because it was in fact accurate.

Before you take a victory lap, keep in mind one very important thing as Dr. Gregory House was known to say: "EVERYBODY LIES".

Even the researchers of virtually every study done on the subject have state that even with complete anonymity, respondents will often lie about their dalliances. Biggest suspected reason? Rationalization. Researchers in some follow up studies found that a significant number of respondents did not consider a "one time only mistake" to be "cheating", and there answered as such. Interesting.

So if I see a study that says 75% of men in committed relationships or marriages have never cheated, I think "somebody's lying". Heck with the P. I's, ask the divorce lawyers.

You are grossly misusing the word "most" ... I NEVER said "most men cheat". "Most" would have to be at least 50.1%. What I said IS that MOST men WOULD cheat if given the opportunity and the guarantee they'd never get caught. You said that info comes solely from a survey promoted by private dicks and that's the only source.

What I actually said is I've seen studies that indicate a greater percentage of men do cheat than you reported, and that I strongly believe, along with many researchers themselves, that there's a lot more lying going on and the numbers are very likely higher for men. I never said those numbers would take it from 30% to over 50%, which would then make it "most men".

Infidelity is the third most commonly listed cause of divorce, behind lack of commitment and constant fighting (incompatibility).

I'm not here to argue with an anonymous person no less, and research every freaking survey I've ever seen to prove a point you wouldn't accept anyway. If you're THAT interested, go research causes of divorce as well, not just cheating among non-marrieds.

This study draws from a lot of sources, and supports a lot of what I said about specifics, and even what you said "in general". It's simply not that simple of an answer.
