Need some advice. Has been out of a dating game for some time due to a combination of things so kinda lost.
Anyways, through a friend, I was introduced to a girl who was looking for a tennis partner. She's 26 in case that's important. Our schedules have been pretty busy, but we met up a few times over two weeks to play. She then had to leave for another province for her studies. We chatted in-between playing but didn't have time to go out during that time, and she mentioned getting drinks together. After she returned for a break, she invited me for drinks and we had a good time but she had to go home after drinks. She had a flight back in two days so we couldn't hang out again but we made plans for a little trip together once she returns. Both I and she are single.
So here is a question. At this point, we haven't decided where we stand cause with her leaving, it kinda made no sense. I plan to see where we go once she returns but meanwhile, should I text her, and how often? I was never too great with texting and not sure what would be a good balance. On one side, no texts make sense because we can just resume once she returns. On the other, if I don't text, I kinda see that she just figures I'm not interested.
Anyhow, I appreciate you reading this and if you can give your thoughts, I'd appreciate it.

Thank you. Quick question, how would I segue into calling? Would I just text that I want to ask her some question or just ask if she wants to chat? Sorry, I'm not used to texting so not sure about the best way to approach it. Thank you!
