There is this guy I’ve been dating. Everything has always been good between us. But since we started dating a series of bad events happened in his life. He is going through a lot and that has affected our relationship. We have been off and on and I can’t do that anymore. I broke up with him and he finally told me he wasn’t ready for a commitment with anyone. He wants to continue seeing me and build a friendship. I don’t know if I should be friends with him.

I feel like guys do that to get the benefits of a relationship without committing. I wouldn’t “build a friendship” with him, because I assure you he will step out of line and try romantic or sexual things towards you, and that’s not what you want.

Yeh I’m worried that one of us is gonna step out of line and make a move. I think we just to have set boundaries and end the friendship if either one of us is starting to have feelings again.
