Agree. Pretty sure someone will disagree with me, as I know some men put an "timeframe" on how long until a woman should sleep with him, and how that correlates with her interest in him.

Yeah, it don't work like that.
To me, putting out when you barely know the guy, or anything about him, just comes off as desperate. Or sleeping with them so soon is their way of trying to show the other person they're into them, when in actuality, it's more lust than love.
I read so many questions on here about women, particularly young girls, sleeping with guys on their first meet-up... only for them to lose interest or ghost them afterwards. Why?

It's hard to respect someone when you sleep with them that quickly. Yeah, I'm probably going to offend someone with that but, I don't care. I'm sure as hell not going to respect or want a man that wants sex on the first date.

Agree… If someone makes it about sex from day one, that’s usually all they’re looking for… It’s not just how much someone cares or loves you, how much do they “respect “ You? Enough to wait till you really know them and know it’s more than just sex,… if they don’t respect you enough to not try to pressure you into sex, they sure aren’t going to respect you afterwards🤷‍♀️

Generally, I think it's LESS LIKELY to lead to a long-term relationship if you have sex on the first date. But only in a very general way. I wouldn't go nearly so far as to say first-date sex USUALLY doesn't lead to a long-term relationship.

But... I think it's good advice for women who are looking for a long-term relationship, to consider NOT having sex on a first date.

If first date sex happens because sex is the goal for both of the participants, then it is probably a one-and-done. But sometimes, couples come together and mutual lust is not all that they have in common.

I agree, but not because of having sex... the vast majority of first dates don't lead to long-term relationships, whatever happens (or doesn't happen) on the date.

i would agree with that generally speaking. sure there's exceptions but generally i think that kind of prevents that entire romantic/emotional interesting stuff to build up. like if you start a roller coaster right on the top of the highest point, you're not gonna have the anticipation of getting all the way up there.

I usually shy away from anyone who wants first date sex. I have no clue who the person really is, they could be psychotic and you just opened the door to them thinking they are in a long term relationship bc of the sex.

Calling everyday, showing up unannounced, making your life a living hell, and you somewhat walked into it.

I agree, but I only have my own experience to base it off of. Any girl that I've slept with the first night I met her usually was just looking for a hookup, and while sometimes these hookups turned into a regular thing, it definitely wasn't the same as the way the girlfriends I've had acted.

More likely people are just looking for some sex with no commitment so no, I don't think your chances are good under those circumstances as you would be building a relationship on sex, and not the whole package.

Agree and disagree.

In traditional dating, of women who wait and have low body count, I agree. Sex on the first date is going to make the relationship less likely.

In modern dating where women sleep around and have high body count, it's essential the woman sleeps with the man immediately upon his request or he will feel slighted or that you don't like him because you had done that with everyone else, must not like me or respect me. Unfortunately it still is less likely to lead to serious relationship as above though but making a man wait when you have a casual sex history will make many men run or just play you or feel entitled to cheat on you.

After first date I never had sex with boyfriend until one year lol. However I heard a story on a tv show how a women slept with a guy on the first date and now married have baby but she only wants a green card. Still I think it’s bad idea have sex on first date. Never do that.

I never wifed up any women that was that easy. I think the longest term was an NSA that went about 6 months, which is just a crazy amount of time for an NSA relationship.

Typically it was about a night "I usually don't do this" and never see them, to a week or two, and they get jealous of the other women and need to cycle out.

Having sex or not having sex on the first date doesn't determine the length of the relationship. Most relationships don't last long. You can choose to have sex with people soon after meeting. Then you will have sex with a lot of people you are no longer seeing.

First date sex could mean that one person was just looking for a hookup, in which case there never would have been a relationship anyway. But other times when the two people really connect right away, sex can seal the bond and increase the chance of a future relationship. It's all about the underlying intention, not whether or not you had sex on the first date.

Depends. Usually no but not always.

I had sex with my last girlfriend on our first date. At first it seemed like a typical hook up but before I did it I said “hey I’ve really did a lot of this in the past and I was hoping we can hang out again after this”. She responded with “let’s have sex now so we can have sex again later”. We ended up dating for 8 months.

Well statistics show that couple who wait to have sex report they are more satisfied in their relationship as opposed to those who don’t wait. Researchers said that participants who waited at least six months to have sex with their partners were actually happier than those who didn't.

honestly though I think that mostly has to do with weeding out people just in it for physical gratification and people willing to sacrifice short term pleasure for long term benefit.
