Should I try another meetup activity?

Last time I visited two of them. I didn’t have much in common with the other people there.

at least you get to find people in your age group. Every time I see a interesting activity I any to join on meetup , it's either a lot older people, or too many men. I guess we need to search ourselves for better places , activities, hobbies, and interests. No luck for me either.

I meet tons of people there but i also do a hobby and a sport. Try a different activity perhaps.

Yeah, I’ve tried the bar scene and I’m sound sensitive and I don’t like big crowds. I can’t relate to people seeking wealth and prestige. They tell me something about their wealth or job, expecting me to be impressed; because they’re more well of financially and successful than I am and they’re attractive. When I cease to care, they disappear. It surprises me how many people are easily impressed with prestige. I didn’t grow up with wealth, but I have beautiful clothes and jewellery that I can buy with my own money. I like them, but when I think of impressive, I think of firemen and nurses saving lives. Especially during covid. Not someone born into wealth or achieving it later.

@Kritit try to avoid the bar scene. I’ve tried that. It’s full of singles looking to hook up.
