Should I attend the meet up?

I've been playing a game online for close to 4 years now, and I've been in this guild for most of it (3 years+). I wouldn't say I interact much with my guildmates, as I play this game mostly with family and other friends who sadly aren't as active as me (and thus couldn't end up in the same guild which requires active attendance). Recently they are planning a meet up IRL, and I'm interested in joining, but I'm thinking if it'll be weird for me to suddenly pop out of nowhere (note again that I usually don't interact much in the group chat). Should I go or will I be an awkward addition to the meet up? (I'm usually introverted but occasionally have this burst of feeling to meet new people 😂)

i see what you mean, but i think you should go. have some fun. you're an introvert and the fact that you want to go is a good sign. enjoy yourself! don't deprive yourself of something that you are excited about. what's the worse that could happen? also, it'll help get you out of your shell and maybe you'll be more active after that!

What's the harm that could happen if you go. As an introverted person myself I encourage you to go. Sometimes going to meet ups can help us to be less introverted. A least this has been the case for me.
