No! That's not dumb at all! AS LONG AS you tell him exactly what you want. I mean tell him EXACTLY and specifically what you want.

Now, you're going to have to be really really specific and detailed to make sure he gets you makeup that you want. And be specific about that part too! TELL him not to get you anything aside from what you're specifically asking for. You don't want him doing any stupid shit like buying something different than what you usually wear because it looked like a better deal or any bullshit like that.

So yes. It's fine to ask for makeup. But if you want the right makeup... you need to treat him as though he's a total idiot. Be ultra specific. Leave zero room for guesswork. Zero room for error. I cannot stress that enough.

Get creative. How about instead of making it just a gift for you that you create a couple experience. So buy the makeup but also invest in a professional photoshoot for you and your guy to make a memory and have really nice pictures for your anniversary
