Do guys really expect women to play hard to get?

No or at least not in terms of dating but rather in terms of sexual interaction. The problem with a woman playing hard to get in terms of dating is that it creates a high number of guys that don´t take no for an answer since they assume. She just plays hard to get while she´s actually rejecting them.

So true. I never play hard to get and I have Asperger’s, so I often wondered why men got so determined when I finally stopped trying.

Because they probably misunderstood you. For me the problem with the idea is that I think it could be a reason why some guys stalk women since they might think that whenever a woman rejects them, she's just playing around.
